for BRONCO BOB’S CHIPOTLE SAUCES
For Grilled or Oven-Baked Meats/As a Basting, Glazing or Dipping
Sauce: The smoky zest of the chipotle pepper combined with the
sweetness of raspberries or apricots compliments any dish. Fantastic on meats
including chicken (as well as wings and drumettes), turkey, salmon, pork,
rack of lamb and duck. The meat should be basted with the sauce for about
the last 15 minutes of the cooking time, and the sauce may then be served
(either warmed or at room temperature) as an additional dipping sauce.
The Tangy Apricot Chipotle Sauce is especially good on baked ham (We sometimes like to add golden raisins or currants to the sauce for the ham), and the Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce is really great on grilled pork tenderloin.
A fun party idea is to fill either a fondue pot or crock pot with sliced precooked sausage or little smokies and completely smother with sauce–keep at low heat.
Fast and Fabulous Hors D’oeuvres & Sandwiches: Simply pour over cream cheese or Brie cheese and serve with crackers. Our favorite is to warm the Brie cheese on a platter, then pour the Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce over it, and place fresh sliced pears and/or apples around the edges for dipping. For a great zip to cold turkey, try the Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce on your sandwich!!
Tangy,
Tasty Egg Rolls:
Frozen egg rolls
1 bottle Bronco Bob’s Tangy
Apricot Chipotle Sauce
Preheat egg rolls per instructions on package. Warm the Tangy
Apricot Chipotle Sauce and use for dipping.
Raspberry
Vinaigrette Salad Dressing: (We personally prefer to make this
recipe below without any oil, although the “bite” of the dressing is much
stronger this way. Sometimes we add 2 Tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil.) We
like thin slices of watermelon on top of baby greens (roasted vegetables,
bacon bits and/or croutons are also a nice addition) for an elegant look and
great sweet/hot taste for a salad using this dressing.
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup rice wine or rice vinegar
2/3 cup Bronco Bob’s Roasted
Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
Mix and pour over roasted vegetables or salad greens.
Roasted
Raspberry Chipotle Bean Dip:
2 cans (10.5 oz) cooked, drained pinto beans, black beans or refried beans
1 large red onion, diced
2 pkgs. (8 oz) softened cream cheese or grated cheddar cheese
Drain beans thoroughly and pour into a microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle diced
red onions on beans. Gently spread cream cheese or cheddar cheese on onions.
Pour and spread Bronco Bob’s Roasted
Raspberry Chipotle Sauce over cheese. Microwave on high for 3-5
minutes. Serve.
Party
Croissants:
1 pkg. ready-bake croissant rolls
1 bottle Roasted
Raspberry OR Tangy Apricot Chipotle Sauce
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese
Put 1 Tbsp of sauce and 1 Tbsp of cream cheese in each croissant roll. Follow
directions on rolling and baking croissants as directed on package.
Dessert Sauce: Pour over cheesecake for a sweet/hot and creamy dessert taste!
