Hollman’s
BBQ Sauce
and
Hollman’s Great Seasonings
Not Your Mama’s Meatloaf:
2
pounds ground beef (or turkey)
3 tsp Hollman’s Mesquite Seasoning
1/2 cup Hollman’s Southwestern Style BBQ Sauce
1/4
cup ketchup
1 Tbsp mustard
1 cup bread crumbs or dry oatmeal
2 eggs
Thoroughly combine all ingredients. Place in shallow baking dish and bake
in 350o oven for 1 hour.
Not Your Mama’s Oven-Fried Chicken:
1/2
cup Bisquick
1/2 cup crushed corn flakes
3 tsp Hollman’s Original, Mesquite, or Cajun Seasoning
2-1/2 to 3-pound fryer chicken cut
in pieces
Spray a 13 x 9 pan. Mix first 3 ingredients in separate dish and coat
chicken pieces. Spray chicken pieces with Pam or other spray. Place in oven.
Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes. Take out of oven, turn pieces, and return to
oven for another 15-20 minutes or until done. Turn off heat and serve as
soon as possible.
Gourmet Baked Beans:
1/2 cup Hollman’s Southwestern Style BBQ Sauce
2 cans plain
precooked navy beans
3/4 cup brown sugar
5 oz of your favorite smoked meat (optional)
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until glaze forms on top.
Southwestern Style Sloppy Joes:
2 pounds ground beef or turkey 1/2
cup ketchup
1/2 cup Hollman’s Southwestern Style BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp mustard
Brown beef and drain off excess fat. Add BBQ sauce, ketchup and mustard.
Mix thoroughly. Serve on hamburger buns.
BBQ Beef Sandwiches (regular or HOT!!):
Place a roast in the crock pot and let simmer all day. When it is thoroughly
cooked, remove any bone and excess fat pieces. Shred meat with a fork. Place
in microwave dish and add one jar of Hollman’s Southwestern Style BBQ Sauce
OR Hollman’s Southwestern
Style Habanero Hot BBQ Sauce.
Microwave for 5 minutes and stir to make sure all
the meat is coated with sauce; then microwave 2 more minutes. Serve on buns.
HOT!! Fried Cabbage:
Shred cabbage. Melt 1/4 cup margarine in frying pan. Add cabbage and 2 tsp
lemon juice. Sprinkle with Hollman’s Original Seasoning, cover and let steam for
2 minutes. Stir and steam 2 more minutes, stir again…continue this process
until cabbage is as tender as you like, then serve.
Mesquite OR Cajun Fries:
1 egg white
1 pound frozen french fries
Hollman’s Mesquite or Cajun Seasoning
Whip egg white until foamy
but not thick. Thoroughly coat fries with egg white. Place on greased (or
sprayed) baking sheet and sprinkle with one of the above seasonings. (Use
more or less depending on the amount of spice or heat desired.) Bake 20 minutes
at 450o,
stirring twice.
